Now, you can listen to the first book in the Sonrise Stable series, Rosie and Scamper!
This audiobook is FREE, as is the ebook version of Rosie and Scamper.
Listen to each chapter from this page by clicking the triangle/play icon. Or download and save the audio files by clicking the download link. Feel free to share the link or files with your friends. Just do not alter the content of the files.
My granddaughter has a Yoto Player. We have tested the files on her player, using a MYO (Make Your Own) card. Simply create a playlist in your Yoto app from these files, and you’ll be able to transfer the playlist to a MYO card. The files are standard mp3 files, so you can also play them from any smart phone or computer.
The voices for the book’s characters were generated from ElevenLabs, using text to speech. The voices, emphasis, etc. are not perfect, but the technology has advanced significantly from the robotic TTS of just a few years ago. My 7 y.o. granddaughter gave her stamp of approval to it.
The text is the exact text from the book, which was my own creation. I have never, and will never, use AI to “write” any of my books. The stories are derived from my own experience and the imagination and abilities God has given me. If I had the funds to create an audiobook using people, I would have done that. Unfortunately, my choices were/are not - a human cast or TTS - but TTS or No audiobook at all.
** After clicking Download, depending on which browser you are using, you may see another player, with a 3 dot menu option. Click the dots and you should see a link to save the mp3 file. If there are no dots, try right clicking on the player and Save Audio As.
